Steve Green + Project Coordinator
Born in Lexington in 1951, Steve has spent his entire life living and working in Lexington. At the young age of 16 years old, Steve began his first job as draftsman and surveyor even before graduating from high school. His experience as an engineer would prove valuable as he carried his experience into the general construction market at the age of 22. Steve has experience at all levels of construction from finish work to new construction. Steve even owned his own business for 12 years as a General Contractor. Over the years, Steve has built a reputation in Lexington for being one of the most reliable, honest and skilled craftsman in the construction field by never settling for anything less than a job well done. Steve started his career in Walker Properties as a project coordinator in charge of all construction. Steve has since built on his unprecedented 40 years of construction experience by taking part in the careful renovations of historic buildings in Walker Properties portfolio. With his varied background in construction backed up with his ability to produce outstanding uncompromised work, Steve will make sure your new space is built exactly the way you want it. When Steve is not at work, he enjoys woodworking, camping and spending time with his wife of 38 years, daughter, son and two grandchildren.
Alan Davis + Project Coordinator
Although Alan was not born in Lexington, he moved from Dallas, Texas to Lexington when he was one year old. He began working in construction right out of high school at the age of 18. Alan has ample experience in structural steel, welding, HVAC, plumbing and general construction. With over 30 years experience, Alan moved to Walker Properties in October of 2005 to become the primary Service Technician, but spends most of his time in the general construction and renovations of commercial buildings. Alan was challenged early on at Walker Properties when in 2006, Steve Green was involved in a car wreck and was unable to work for several months. At the time, Steve was overseeing a massive 30,000 square foot site redevelopment and a 7000 square foot fit-up for our new tenant, Kentucky Mudworks. Alan immediately stepped up and took charge of the construction site and finished the project on time and with unwavering quality. Alan will be sure to have you covered whether it is a service call in the middle of the night, or while planning your new construction.
Alan enjoys spending time outdoors taking in fishing, photography, rock climbing and spending time with his son.
